Sound Bite
Half a century after John F. Kennedy's assassination, his death remains among the most controversial events in American history. But it is not an isolated event; and it was carefully planned, and even rehearsed. A confidential story imparted by a cousin draws together disparate threads and weaves a coherent explanation.
According to the family of Ben Fazzino, the Bay of Pigs connects the roles of Frank Sturgis, E. Howard Hunt, the CIA (namely Allen Dulles, Richard Bissell, Tracy Barnes, and General Cabell), George Herbert Walker Bush, Richard M. Nixon, the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the Mafia, and the FBI. This book shows how.
About the Author
Nick Nero, Professor of Drama, entrepreneur, novelist and lecturer, delivers startling new information about the assassination and related episodes based on a deathbed confession by a close relative and war hero who was Frank Sturgis's outside contractor/bagman for the CIA. These new insights set modern US history in a whole new context.

The murders of JFK, RFK, MLK, the escalation of war in Viet Nam; the downfall and resignation of Richard M. Nixon...This book is a compelling, researched tale from acts of heroism in Okinawa to the tragic failure of the Bay of Pigs invasion to overthrow Castro and its ultimate, deadly consequences.
Proprietary information from a death-bed confession of a World War II war hero who had close ties to Frank Sturgis includes startling new revelations about a rehearsal for the assassination of JFK, attended by Lee Harvey Oswald, Frank Sturgis, and his own limo driver, weeks before 11/22/63 at a Mafia-controlled location, how Mary Jo Kopechne died at Chappaquiddick, and the real reason for Watergate. These and other details are told for the first time in print in a heavily-sourced scholarly yet easily readable manner.

The idea of a rehearsal for the assassination of JFK is not far-fetched'Nick Nero's account makes a very plausible case based upon the death-bed confession of his marine-hero cousin, Ben Fazzino, whose own life story weaves together his associations with the CIA, Frank Sturgis, Che Guevara, Meyer Lansky, Santos Trafficante and eventually LBJ with the Bay of Pigs, the deaths of JFK, MLK, and RFK up to the Chappaquiddick event and the Watergate break-in.
There were attempts to assassinate JFK in Miami and in Chicago before they succeeded in Dallas. In Miami, he was flown to his destination by helicopter, circumventing the intended crime scene. In Chicago, a plot was broken up based upon information from a source identified as 'Lee.' And in Dallas, there have even been reports of rifle shots heard in Dealey Plaza the night before the assassination, which have never been confirmed, but which would not be especially surprising'a final 'dress rehearsal' with sound effects.
Waggoner Carr, Attorney General of Texas, launched his own investigation and found that Lee Oswald was an informant for the FBI, that he had informant Number 179 and that he was being paid $200 a month right up to the time of the assassination. In one of the great ironies of the case, the federal government has never released Oswald's W-2 forms, which can only be for the obvious reason they would have revealed those payments by the FBI. It cannot be because they don't know where to find them.
There are more than 15 indications of Secret Service complicity in setting JFK up for the hit, where two agents were left behind at Love Field, the vehicles in the motorcade were all in the wrong order'with JFK out front, when he should have been in the middle'and the cars were of different makes, models and colors, which made it possible for the conspirators to know who was where during the procession. Nothing was left to chance.
The crowd was allowed to spill out into the street and open windows were not covered. The motorcade route was changed not long before the event, which is something that is never done so that security officials can insure knowledge of the occupants of each building along the way. The motorcycle escort was cut down to four and they were instructed not to ride ahead of the rear wheels. One officer complained it was 'the damnedest formation' he had ever seen. Even the 110-degree turn onto Elm Street was in violation of Secret Service protocol.
The driver, William Greer, pulled the limo to the left and to a halt after bullets had begun to be fired. This insured that JFK would be killed. He had already been hit by a shot passing through the windshield that hit him in the throat and by another that hit him in the back. Tiny shards of glass from the windshield punctured his face. During the stop, he was hit twice in the head: once from behind; he fell forward. As Jackie eased him back up and was looking at his face, he was hit in the right temple by a frangible or exploding bullet.
That set up shock waves blowing about half his brains out his already weakened cranium to the left/rear with such force that Dallas Motorcycle Escort Officer Bobby Hargis, riding to the left/rear, when impacted with the debris, initially thought that he himself had been shot. There are some who believe that Greer might have fired that shot, because he was sitting to the left/front of JFK, but had that been the case those brains would have been blown out to the right/rear rather than to the left.
Killing Kennedy was not the problem, but covering it up to conceal the true causes and purposes of his death and to make sure that those who were responsible would never be held to account posed the challenge. To this end, the body was forcibly stolen from Dallas and removed from the bronze casket, probably during the swearing in of LBJ, which was completely unnecessary but afforded the opportunity to move the body to a compartment in the plane from which it would be removed when Air Force One landed at Andrews Field. Nero endorses an alternative account, suggesting this happened during the exchange of luggage from Air Force Two'one of a few points on which we diverge.
We now know that the body was taken to Walter Reed Army Hospital, where the best forensic pathologists in the US military removed metal fragments that would have revealed multiple shots from different locations. It was placed in a body bag and taken to the morgue at Bethesda Naval Hospital in a black Cadillac hearse. When the entourage with the bronze casket in a grey Pontiac ambulance arrived, Jerrol Custer, the Navy technician who had taken the X-rays, was surprised because he was already headed upstairs to develop the X-rays he had taken during a pre-autopsy moments earlier, before the autopsy had begun.
The conspirators would alter the X-rays to conceal a massive blow-out to the back of his head and add a 6.5mm metallic slice to implicate an obscure Italian World War II carbine, which was known as 'the humanitarian rifle' for never actually harming anyone on purpose. After patching the blow-out, there was nowhere for his brains to have gone, so they substituted another brain'which was virtually intact'for that of JFK. And they made sure the home movies were revised to support the 'official account.'
Oswald was framed by fabricating the 'backyard photographs' and altering his image in the doorway of the Texas School Book Depository, where professional AP photographer James 'Ike' Altgens had captured him on film. It would take nearly 50 years to expose this deception, but the proof is now overwhelming. See 'JFK Part 1: A National Security Event'Oswald didn't do it' and 'JFK Part II: A National Security Event'How it was done,' for some of the most important evidence.
The execution appears to have been carried out by shooters at six different locations, one of whom was a Dallas Deputy Sheriff, another an anti-Castro Cuban, the third worked for the CIA, the fourth was a Dallas Police O
