Finally, we have a lucid step-by-step guide that explains the fundamental concepts Marx identified and shows how Capitalism bulldozes us inevitably toward greater wealth for the few and ever-deeper poverty for the rest. This is a best-seller that has gone through 30 print runs in South Korea since 2008. Presenting the content of Capital through a series of classroom exchanges between a lecturer and his students, Seungsoo Lim lays out the ideas in Capital which could otherwise seem difficult and boring. The book also looks at modern society as analyzed from the perspective of Capital, delivering a stark eye-opener to people who are stuck in the rat race of the capitalist system. Mr. Lim is an electronic engineer who likes to know how things work, including the world we live in. The insights he found in Marx's analysis of capitalism gave him the kind of shock Neo had when he took the red pill in The Matrix. For over ten years, Mr. Lim has been writing and giving talks on these revelations.
