Albertino da Boa Morte Francisco and Nujoma Sancho Quaresma Agostinho

Albertino da Boa Morte Francisco grew up in the island nation of Sao Tome.  He earned a Licentiate Degree in Applied Mathematics and Computing and a pre-doctoral Extended Advanced Training Diploma in Management of Technology, Innovation and Knowledge, both from the University of Aveiro, in Portugal. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Management, including courses at Lancaster University as well as University Fernando Pessoa in Oporto.Nujoma Sancho Quaresma Agostinho concluded his pre-university degree in Sao Tome, where he participated in many organizations and humanitarian activities. He then earned a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Telecommunications and Electronics Engineering at the University of Aveiro. He is currently working toward a PhD in Information Science through the University Fernando Pessoa.Since early childhood, both men have been watching the degradation of their country by the rulers and state officials entrusted with moving the tiny nation forward. In their words, “Politics is all about society and society is the sum of individual lives. Therefore, the development of politics in society determines the nature of individuals. And the political actions in Sao Tome and Principe (STP) have done impossible things: They have turned angels into demons and princes into monsters.”This is the second edition of their work analyzing the challenges of developing adequate leadership for Sao Tome.
