John F. Crosby

A Princeton Theological Seminary graduate and former ordained Presbyterian minister, John F. Crosby, PhD, suffered a life-shaking loss of faith while in the very act of preparing words of encouragement for his parishioners. Wishing to continue in his role of guiding and caring for the people around him, on the basis of sound philosophical and psychological approaches rather than faith, Dr. Crosby went on to become Professor and Chair, Department of Family Studies, The University of Kentucky. He is now retired.
