Stanley L. Robinson PhD, PE has distilled his 95 years of very active participation in life into this short, easy-to-read book. He identifies some of the challenges facing our society and offers insights on how to cope, and how to achieve a harmonious, fulfilling life.
Dr. Robinson was a pilot in the US Navy during World War II. He worked for over 40 years for a major international corporation. He began as chief industrial engineer and retired as an International Vice President with the International Export Division, International Technical Operations, Worldwide Productivity Office, and The Travel Bureau under his direction. His work took him to 60 countries.
Early in his career he strove to broaden his engineering capacity and earned several degrees. First he became a Licensed Professional Engineer, then earned his Masters in Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute where he simultaneously served on the teaching staff in the RPI School of Management and created the School of Management at the Troy New York Community College. To this he added a doctorate from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in management and psychology. He earned all these degrees in night school, on 100% scholarships, while working full time.
Dr. Robinson has had nine books published in management and technology. He is also a musician and poet.
